Los Angeles Clippers vs. Utah Jazz

We have been getting burned by going against the Clippers their last three games, but they have been blowing everyone out and have been playing out of their minds. This would be a member’s play for us but we can’t release another pick against the Clippers since we have been on the wrong side three times in a row. But we do think the Clippers streak ends tonight in Utah. For one, this is a revenge spot for Utah, who lost by one here in this same building early in the month. While revenge is normally an overrated handicapping factor in NBA betting, we do think it comes into play here because of the large target the Clippers now have on their collective back, as well as the way the Jazz lost that game, by missing a last-second shot that would have won it. That was also Utah’s first home loss of the season. We’re sure that loss still stings and that the Jazz will be bringing their A Game here on Friday night. Even though the Clippers have a deep bench, this is still a back-to-back situation for them and their third game in four nights. The Jazz had a day off and, before their home loss to the Warriors, two nights off before that. Utah has covered five of the last six meetings in this series and we think they make it six of seven tonight.
